I just got Clip Studio Paint and I have no idea what i'm doing.
How do you use it correctly?

Just experiment with it. I didn't really know what I was doing with it, still kinda don't, but trying out different brushes/pens might help you understand it more. May I also suggest checking out tutorials going over the program? A tutorial will hopefully explain a few things.
